COMPLIANCE 2007
For years, the Southern Nevada Water Authority has been telling
residents to conserve water. Living in the desert, you would think
that they would listen. At first they did, but it became apparent
that more was needed. No more Mr. Nice Public Utility. Targetting
the residents in charge of watering, the campaign contributed
to reducing water usage in the valley.

WHY YOU TEACH
The New Orleans Recovery School District needed 500 teachers to
accommodate an anticipated large number of fall 2007 students.
There were less than three months to develop and launch a campaign and attract enough applicants to meet this goal. Having
missed the typical recruiting window, the campaign had to sell
potential applicants on working in post-Katrina New Orleans, in
a system that had consistently been ranked as one of the worst
in the country. In the end, the district received 1, 100 applications,
and opened its schools fully staffed.
